The Majestic Canyon and its Colors
The Grand Canyon is a most awe inspiring National Park. When one stands on the rim and views the vastness of the canyon, the erosion that has occurred over millions of years it takes one's breath away. Then one also sees the myriad number of colors in the bands of rock on its weathered walls and the trees and vegetation anchoring on its ledges. A marvel of our beautiful country that has challenged many an artist to attempt to capture the beauty they see. Here you have another of my attempts to portray its beauty.
The painting is 24"X18" on Colourfix paper triple matted and framed in a custom Mahogany colored 30"X24" wood frame.

Spring Storm on the Ranch
On the way home from lunch in Marysville with friends, I noticed how the storm clouds were hanging in the foothills and tuned off on a side road shortly after the little town of Sheridan.
